Crown Prince Rudolf, based on the Mayerling Incident, a real story of the Crown Prince, Rudolf, who bet on everything for love, brings one of the most dramatic and most talked about episodes in Austrian history to spectacular life: the mysterious double suicide of Crown Prince Rudolf, heir to the throne of the Habsburg Empire, and his 17-year-old lover Baroness Mary Vetsera in Mayerling in 1889.

Crown Prince Rudolf returns to fans in Korea after its previous box-office success in 2012 that drew audiences totaling 15 million people through presenting a powerful storyline with lyrical melody. This time round, singer Tim Hwang, actor Ahn Jae-Wook and musical actor Im Tae-Kyung will take on the role of Rudolph.

The musical is filled with beautiful scenes and inspiring melodies that include lyrically choreographed waltz and tango performances, and also an exciting skating scene. With the snowy Mayerling scene that perfectly realizes the beautiful winter atmosphere for love, the audience will not even take their eyes off the stage for a moment.

Anyone who has ever been in love before can sympathize with the heartbreaking love story of this musical, which will evoke a deep feeling of love in the audience as 2014 comes to an end.
