Korean heartthrob Siwon Choi 崔始源, together with acclaimed Hong Kong Director Dante Lam 林超贤, will be in Singapore on 5th August to promote their latest sports-action blockbuster TO THE FORE 《破风》!
They will be attending a series of promotional events during their Singapore whirlwind tour!
Siwon Choi and Director Dante Lam will be attending TO THE FORE Meet-The-Fans Session at The Skating Rink at Marina Bay Sands to meet their fans up-close and grace the TO THE FORE Singapore Gala Premiere Stage Event to be held at Front Plaza, Plaza Singapura!
As part of Marina Bay Sands’ annual charity event, Sands for Singapore Charity Festival, up to 40 film students in Singapore will be invited to an exclusive Movie Magic Discussion with the director, Dante Lam and Siwon Choi, sharing with the invited guests their challenges in filming and producing such a technical movie that involves multiple destinations and casts of hundreds on a very physically demanding film.
The Sands for Singapore Charity Festival 2015, the biggest-ever edition of this charity festival, will be held over 10 days from 31 July to 9 August and will intersect with the Golden Jubilee weekend. This 10-day celebration will be packed with fun-filled activities to raise funds for over 80 local charities.
With a production budget of approximately SGD $16 million, TO THE FORE is an intense sports drama set in the world of competitive cycling that focuses on the friendships of the professional cyclists. The blockbuster, directed by Dante Lam after the highly acclaimed UBEATABLES《激战》, was shot in several countries all over the world namely in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea, Inner Mongolia and Italy.
TO THE FORE stars some of Asia’s hottest stars including Eddie Peng 彭 于 晏 (RISE OF THE LEGEND, UNBEATABLE, COLD WAR), Siwon Choi 崔始源 (DRAGON BLADE, HELIOS, etc), Shawn Dou 窦骁 (UNDER THE HAWTHORN TREE), Wang Luodan 王珞丹 (RISE OF THE LEGEND), Carlos Chan 陈嘉乐, OuYang Na-Na 欧阳娜 娜 (BEIJING LOVE STORY) and Andrew Lin 连凯 (THE HEAVENLY KINGS) .
