f(x), no people, we are not talking about forex or some mathematical formula here, but a Korean girl group from SM Entertainment. f(x) has one of the more diverse members demographics in terms of their nationality in an idol group, comprising of the group’s Chinese leader – Victoria, the American Chinese – Amber, the Koreans – Luna & Sulli and lastly, the American Korean – Krystal (better known as SNSD Jessica’s younger sister).

Aff(x)tion Forums (http://www.affxtion.com/) is a platform for all international fans of the girls to gather and discuss about everything f(x). Fans are able to sign up as members of the forum and have various access to the features within the forum, such as the latest news of f(x). Members are also able to apply to have various responsiblities on the forum, such as typesetters, translators among others. Advantages for the members of the forum include the ability to download the various videos released by the subbing group of the forum; Aff(x)tionate Subs. The videos released by the group include the various videos which featured f(x).

The layout of the site is arranged in an organised manner with a top to bottom scrolling selection. Members of the forum can discuss about a member of the group in their individual domain. A black background contrasted against the bright colours of white, light blue and pink gives a vibrant feel to the website. Good selection of constrasting colours is carefully used, but it may not be very visible for some of the grey shades for fonts.
