Korea Free & Easy Part 7.1: Invincible Youth 청춘불패
We almost have no idea if all our followers are anticipating this for as long as we have took to come up with this, but KAvenyou never fails to whet your appetite by making you wait. The sheer amount of beautiful photos of yuchi-ri where Invincible Youth 청춘불패 is filmed regularly “forced” us to do a two part series for our final post on our “Korean Free & Easy” coverage. The variety has filmed and aired its last episode after slightly more then one year, but we are sure expecting season 2 to see G7′s gags and crazy antics to entertain followers once again.
Before we can head into the Dong Seoul Bus Terminal to get a bus ticket to head towards Gangwon-do, we need to share more about our destination. Gangwon-do is just next to Seoul, and is accessible via intercity buses. Yuchi-ri is a small village located within Chuncheon, which is then within Gangwon-do. There are various ways to get to Yuchi-ri, which we will share more as we head into the bus terminal.
Looking at the ticket counters makes you imagine how many buses there are running around the country. One can get to yuchi-ri by hopping on a bus towards Chuncheon or Yangdeokwon. What is the difference i hear? Not much actually according to what we know. Yangdeokwon is basically like a small town or market central area where G7 went to sell off their produces in the show. When buying your tickets, do note that there are varying buses even when heading to Chuncheon or Yangdeokwon, so ask if you are unsure. As far as we are sure, there is only a single bus stop in Yangdeokwon, and you will have to change to a blue feeder bus or get a taxi to get to Yuchi-ri.
Taking a direct bus from Dong Seoul Terminal to Chuncheon Bus Terminal will give you many similar options to get to Yuchi-ri as well. Taxis are in abundance outside the terminal and there are many buses available at the terminal, which also makes ticket buying easier as compared to hopping on a bus directly from a bus stop. Grab a ticket for the feeder bus heading to Shidong, and you are on your way to yuchi-ri. If you are worrying where to alight, do not be bothered because when you are near, there will be many signs to identify the Idol Village. However, we have no idea if those are still available since the programme is no longer airing.
The above is the “bus stop” where the driver dropped us off, which is about 100m away from the idol village.
Here we are at the destination. How can you possibly miss it with such a big sign giving you directions. Thats all for the first part, and of course we will bring you into the idol village in the finale to “KAvenyou Korea Free & Easy”. The more comments we get, the more motivated or excited we will be to bring you the finale faster. If you like this, share the word through Twitter or Facebook.
