JINJJA Chicken, a halal-certified Korean fast food concept restaurant that has just opened its doors in Singapore last November, will be celebrating Korea’s Black Day by giving away free Jjajangmyeon all week! (Yes, you’ve heard that right!)
What is Black Day?
Also known as Singles Day, Black Day, which falls on 14th April, is one of the most celebrated unofficial holiday in Korea. Singles will dress up in black and eat black-coloured food, with Jjajangmyeon (Korean black bean sauce noodles) being a popular choice.
For the entire Black Week, from 10th April to 17th April, JINJJA Chicken will also be serving free Jjajangmyeon to singles! Diners need only make a public declaration at the restaurant via either their own Facebook page or JINJJA Chicken’s Facebook fan page that they are
“sexy, free and single” “single and happy” (Campaign slogan), and each person will be entitled to one bowl of full-sized Korean Jjajangmyeon absolutely free! For a bonus, diners who come dressed in black will be entitled to a free gift.
