Famous Italian sportswear brand KAPPA has chosen top hallyu starts Nicole from KARA and 2AM as their new exclusive models. This is the first time that foreign brand KAPPA has chosen hallyu stars as their models. Their marketing official made a statement saying, “Hallyu stars Nicole from KARA and 2AM already has a reputation for endorsing different brands and we feel that they are suitable for the fresh authentic sportswear of KAPPA”.

They said that they have heard that 2AM members also like sports and that they had a photoshoot in a real football stadium overnight and despite the late hours, the members still were cheerful and finished the entire shoot the same with Nicole from KARA. The staff praised the hallyu stars on their professionalism on the set as they had a great time working with each other and they also listened to the staff.

Meanwhile, the whole photoshoot will be revealed this february through KAPPA’s official website.

SNSD is taking New York by storm! On the 2nd of February, SNSD continued their promotional activities in New York for their first American single “The boys” and they were at the popular BEST BUY store in Union Square for a fan signing event. However, over 1,300 fans and media flocked into the event causing a lot of confusion in the event.

Also, fans were standing in line early in the morning and the they had to call the police to ensure everyone’s safety. BEST BUY staff had to suspend the operation of the store for safety reasons because of the huge crowd. The staff said, “So far, we had to discontinue the event because of too many fans and this is the first time since Lady Gaga that this has happened”. The event lasted for 1 hour and 30 minutes where the girls exchanged greetings and shook hands with fans. They were able to meet one on one with some of their fans.

Looks like the staff from BEST BUY did not expect such a huge crowd to appear and the police had to interrupt the fan signing event due to overcrowding which is also for everyone’s safety. It’s also nice to see that SNSD has a lot of fans in New York.

Wonder Girls releases a film in theU.S.for the first time as a Korean singer, which features their moving friendship and their arduous journey to advance into the American music world.

Their film, The Wonder Girls, will be aired on Teen Nick, a channel for teenagers run by Viacom MTV Networks, one of the top four global media giants. In the film, the four girls showed off their excellent command of English and well-honed acting skills.

Through the channel, known for its high household audience rating, the film is planned to air six times in total. The film is watched by the local media and relevant people in the entertainment industry with keen interest.

Earlier, the music video of “The DJ Is Mine,” Wonder Girls’ new song, was unveiled via the 2012 CES. In the MV, we can have a brief peek into some scenes of the upcoming film. The charismatic performance and addictive music was fantastic enough to raise expectations for the film. When it was previewed on January 20 in Los Angeles, The Wonder Girls was well received and broke up the whole crowd.

JYP Entertainment, Wonder Girls’ agency, says, “The Wonder Girls might be one of the biggest projects we have held since we stepped into this new huge market. That’s why we have a high expectation for the film. We ask for your continuous interest and support.”

On February 4 at 7:30 p.m, Dalshabet will hold an autograph session at Mokdong’s Hot Tracks to celebrate the release of their fourth mini album “Hit U.”

This event was held to thank all the fans who have given their attention, time and love for the past year and also to celebrate their new album “Hit U” that was released on January 27.

Since this is the first event that will be held since the release of their new album, many fans will likely gather up and spend time with Dalshabet.

According to the latest charts announced by Billboard Charts on February 3, B.A.P’s debut single album, WARRIOR, released on January 26, has entered the top 10 on World Album Chart.

World Album Chart is not the main chart of Billboard Charts. However, it still means a lot because It’s been achieved by a new idol group, just debuted, without any promotional activities in the U.S.

TS Entertainment, B.A.P’s agency, says, “Because WARRIOR has only been released on iTunes, it means a lot that B.A.P has entered the top 10 on Billboard Charts.”

SNSD has ranked fifth on this chart with their special album, The Boys, released in the U.S. on January 17.

T-ara’s agency Core Contents Media made an official statement saying that RolyPoly will be T-ara’s new single and will be released in Japan very soon. Since last summer, T-ara has been busy promoting hit after hit in Korea such as “RolyPoly”, “Cry Cry” and “Lovey Dovey”. For 6 months they have been on non stop promotions and wasnt able to get some rest. However, they are set to go to Japan to have promotional activities.

Their agency said they will be spending 16 days up to 1 month in Japan and those time they will be having promotional activities such as radio broadcasting, events, magazine interviews and pictorials, newspaper interviews and a variety of other schedules for their promotions.

T-ara are going to conclude their promotions in Korea soon to kick off their activities in Japan.

Before starting their world tour ‘Beautiful Show’ on February 4, they plan to release another new song “Living Without You” after releasing “I Knew It” as their title song for their first concert.

“Living Without You” is a collaboration between Yong Jun Hyung and rookie songwriter Kim Tae Joo. Many people are paying attention because it’s Jun Hyung’s own written song and is also his first solo song since the debut.

“Living Without You” is a frank confession of a betrayed man and will be released on various music charts on February 3 at midnight.

This song has hip hop rhythms and the honest lyrics of a man talking to the girl who betrayed him stand out.

KBS’s Monday-Tuesday series Dream High 2 recently released pictures of Jung Jin Woon, who are playing the role of a tough guy named Jin Yoo Jin.

After Lee Kang Chul (played by Kim Jung Tae), president of OZ entertainment in the series, took over Ki Rin performing arts high school, he starts restructuring the school system. He makes Yang Jin Man to become a guard of school and controls students.

Even though Yoo Jin is very talented musician, because of his delinquent behavior, he was kicked out of school dormitory. As a result, Yoo Jin goes to Yang’s tiny house and start living with him.

The series released the stills on February 3. Camping tools on a table tell that they are having a poor life. In the stills, Yoo Jin is holding a basketball while sitting on a small chair. Many people are wondering how they will take their places back and what will happen to them next.

The series airs every Monday and Tuesday at 9:55 p.m. on KBS.

Some pictures of SNSD’ Hyoyeon taken at a green-room is becoming an issue.

On February 2 at 4:00 p.m., SM Entertainment which manages SNSD uploaded some pictures on its official Facebook account with the comment “Hyoyeon @ Waiting room.”

The pictures were taken during a shooting of a popular American talk show, Live! with Kelly in which SNSD appeared on February 1. Hyoyeon keeps a confident look in the pictures, without a hint of nerves, consistently projecting positive energy for the show.

SM uploaded another posting with the comment “Girls’ Generation on ‘Live! with Kelly.’” They included a picture of Sooyoung getting out of a bus this time.

Netizens highly praised SNSD with the comments: “You look very pretty smiling. Hyoyeon unnie is the best!” “Congrats on your debut in America! I guess you guys are good at English too?” “SNSD can do everything… I can’t help falling in love with you.”

SNSD appeared in The Late Show with David Letterman, a popular American talk show on CBS, on January 31 and performed an English version of their song “The Boys.” Their appearance in the show was highly praised by their fans.
