Japanese rock band flumpool released their fourth studio album 《EGG》 on 16 March in Taiwan and Japan with an extremely creative jacket cover inspired by Norway artiste Edvard Munch famous painting <The Scream>. The protagonist face has been changed to an egg, representing an “Egg Scream”. This impactful design sparks interest online after an “invasion” by famous Sanrio character “Gudetama”. flumpool latest album titled <EGG> hopes to encourage everyone to “hatch and leave their shells” and not be restricted by their environment or the opinion of others. flumpool had no definite concept for <EGG> and it is up to fans to decide on the meaning and value of this album. This brand new album consists of 14 songs, including singles released in 2015 like “Bookstore on the hill” and “You’re Romantic”. The Taiwan special edition will exclusively include 2015 “flumpool Taiwan Special Live” concert DVD. Singapore fans will be able to get hold of their copy end March. This new album will be supported by a national tour “What about EGGS?” in Japan.
flumpool did not forget their promises with Singapore fans and Amuse Singapore has announced that flumpool will be bringing this tour to Singapore on 23rd July 2016! Lead singer Ryuta said that all the members really missed Singapore’s food but they miss Singapore fans even more! Thus they hope to spend a memorable night with all their Singapore fans on 23 July.
