BoA shows particular affection to 秀 (Xiù: excellent) Pearls in K-pop Star
BoA, “the Star of Asia,” shows her particular affection to the team Xiù Pearls once again.
In SBS’s Survival Audition K-pop Star, BoA appears as a judge with Yang Hyun Suk and Park Jin Young, and in a recent shooting for the third round casting audition, she highly praised the Xiù Pearls which is composed of Park Ji Min, Lee Michelle, Lee Jung Mi, and Lee Seung Mi. At the moment, K-pop Star participants are put in temporary teams with a mission.
According to SBS on January 21, when Xiù Pearls sang “Fame” passionately, BoA became completely fascinated by the performance and said, “Can I have a recording of this?” with a cute look. Apparently, the song has taken BoA’s heart, and the production crew made a separate copy of Xiù Pearls’ recording and gave it to BoA.
Recently, it is said that BoA listens to the recording from time to time during her activities overseas and reminds herself the touching, vivid feelings she had. Also, BoA thanked to the production crew saying, “I’m enjoying the music.”
BoA’s particular love for the team began in the sixth episode of K-pop Star that aired on January 8, in which a casting audition show-case took place. Xiù Pearls rearranged SNSD’s The Boys in a powerful melody, and their perfect performance received great feedback from the judges. At that time, BoA showed unusual affection for the team by repeatedly saying, “I love you!”
BoA’s particular affection for Xiù Pearls will be seen again in the eighth episode of K-pop Star that airs on January 22.
More attentions are gathered toward the episode for Yang Hyun Suk, Park Jin Young, and BoA will be having a competitive casting battle over Xiù Pearls.
The production crew says, “The judges Yang Hyun Suk, Park Jin Young, and BoA are showing particular affection to all participants of K-pop Star. After the casting audition, each judge will train hard their ‘rough gemstones’ to make them diamonds in a short period of time.”
