Mookata restaurant has recently launched a new menu for cheese lovers – the Cheesy Mookata! Unlike the normal mookata, this mookata is not surrounded by a ring of soup moat, but instead a ring sectioned into three parts for you to add cheese and corn into.
The Cheesy Mookata set consists of baby back pork ribs, half-shelf scallops, bacon enoki wrap, bratwurst sausage, bak kwa, pork collar, chicken thigh, squid, otah fishcake, kernel corn, mozzarella cheese and cheddar cheese. This certainly sounds super sinful, because it definitely is!
With any purchase of the Cheesy Mookata set, you can also get a Crayfish set (4 pieces) for $12! Here’s a tip – removing the shell before cooking the crayfish will ensure that the entire crayfish gets cooked properly!
Check out the cheesy goodness! However, we reccommend you to add the cheese in afterwards and turn the heat down, as the cheese dip will harden quite quickly!
We also added some cheese on top of the scallops and it was good! After that, we even put cheese on the empty scallop shells so the cheese wouldn’t get burnt so quickly from the strong heat!
As this set meal has no vegetables (except enoki mushrooms) and it consists mainly of meat, we had to wash all these oilyness down with some drink! The popular choice would of course be Thai milk tea, but the mango shake is another refreshing choice as well!
