(June 8, 2012, Hong Kong) – Leading KPOP artist BIGBANG is set to deliver a world-class concert with exclusive and unprecedented KPOP experience to audience in Hong Kong by presenting their 1st ever concert in Hong Kong with “BIGBANG ALIVE TOUR 2012 in HONG KONG” at AsiaWorld-Arena on December 8, 2012 (Saturday).
BIGBANG, known for their unique music style and flamboyant fashion style, is currently one of the most prominent Korean artists both locally and internationally. They have gained utmost popularity and recognition amongst music lovers and fashionistas all over the world. Their 1st ever world tour “BIGBANG ALIVE TOUR 2012”, which has set to perform all over the world, is with no doubt the most anticipated concert in 2012. The tour has kicked-off with 3 impressive concerts in Seoul, in which over 30,000 tickets were instantly sold out after its opening. They have continued their momentum in Japan with an amazing total of 15 shows. Laurieann Gibson, an internationally-renowned director, has joined the world tour as the Creative Director. Laurieann is known as a top director, choreographer and actress who has directed Lady Gaga’s “The Monster Ball Tour” and choreographed and directed her music videos. She has also worked with other stellar artists such as Janet Jackson, Beyoncé and Katy Perry. The recent launched special edition album “Still Alive” has also swept all Korean music charts.
