The contestants were given a wake-up call when Georgina and Alex showed up unannounced at the Model House. The judges then gave the contestants their first challenge – to show them their perfect casting outfits, with only 2 minutes to prepare! Here is a model tip that we picked up: when in doubt, just stick with the basics!

For the second episode of Asia’s Next Top Model 3, the contestants were tasked with two challenges. For Challenge 1, the girls had to get into their rhythm and learn a K-Pop dance routine where they had to shine in a flash mob dance routine in public at Clarke Quay in Singapore. The three best dancers in this challenge got to choose two girls to join their next photoshoot – The K-POP band.

Challenge 2 – The K-POP band photoshoot was the ultimate test for the girls on how to work as a collective – some contestants showed their A-game while others struggled to work as a group. During the second elimination, the judges deliberated on how the contestants worked as a team, and critiqued their individual performances.

The guest judge for the second episode was Ha Sang Beg, a renowned Korean fashion designer who has designed for numerous Korean celebrities, such as SHINee.

For thie week’s episode, fans can participate in the K-POP Outfit of the Day contest. Fans are to submit a K-Pop inspired outfit to Instagram using the hashtags #ZAsNTM3KPOP, plus their country of residence, for example, #SingaporeOnTop. The contest starts on Wednesday, April 1 and submissions end Tuesday, April 7.

The upcoming episode will be about Makeover – where top models should be able to work with all the elements they are given – even if it is something they don’t like.
