14 July 2012, Singapore - Movida at St James’ Power Station was filled with the excited chattering of Xanderettes; what Alexander’s fans are commonly known. As soon as Alexander entered the room, screams and cheers erupted from the group of fans huddled closely near the stage.

Alexander greeted the present fans and said, “I’m back!” after which he kicked off his fan party with a performance “Bad Girl”. The crowd knew every single word of the song and sang along, complemented with fan chants at designated points of the song. Alexander was thrilled, as much as surprised that his fans were so enthusiastic.

He mentioned that his definition of a bad girl is not someone who behaves like a ruffian, but rather someone who plays with his heart.

Aside from Bad Girl, he also performed “I Just”, “Oh! Baby” and the “kimchi song”. The kimchi song was particularly memorable because he taught the crowd how to dance along! His backup dancers also contributed to the cute and upbeat song. Together, they made the performance really entertaining.

Some lucky fans were picked out from the crowd to participate in games with him. A lucky fan who emerged as the winner was given a personal belonging of Alexander himself as a gift, and he was sweet enough to put the pink bracelet on her wrist.

His attention was then directed to the screen where a video prepared by his loyal fans played. Towards the end of the video, his fans raised banners that had “Just Be Happy” printed across in yellow. With tears welling up in his eyes, he told the crowd that he promised that he would not cry. He expressed his gratitude towards his fans that had stuck by him and shared about his life after leaving U-KISS.

His fanclub then surprised him with a “I (heart) Xanderettes” T-shirt and a durian cake for his birthday celebration. Always thinking of his fans, he asked if they were enjoying the fan party as much as he was. As a final request from Xanderettes, he did a “bbuing bbuing” impression before running away in embarrassment.

He ended the fan party with a promise to be back in Singapore.” We compiled some highlights of the fan party, and hope you will enjoy it.

We will like to thank Mode Entertainment for inviting us to the fan party, and hope all fans had fun. If you have a twitter account, do follow Alexander on @alexander_0729.
