”2013 U-KISS Showcase & Fan Party in Jakarta”: Bad weather hit Jakarta, U-KISS will reschedule the showcase & held a charity event

Jakarta (25/01) –  U-KISS’ arrival to Jakarta to meet directly with their fans in b” that should be held on 1-2 February, had to be rescheduled to April 26 to 27, 2013. Bad weather that hit Jakarta lately, which is predicted to occur in the foreseeable future, became one of consideration to reschedule this event. This raised fears and concerns from the artistes and the management about the condition, according to the news they received from the media. This is taking into account:

a. bad weather and conditions before the event can indirectly complicate the preparation and implementation of the events,
b. fans/ticket buyers in Jakarta, outside Jakarta and outside Indonesia that can be difficult to gain access to the event area,
c. concerned and emergency conditions that may occur so it feels that it’s not right to hold a ‘party’ in these conditions,

then NH Media as the artist management and Oppa Oppa Live as the organizers decided to reschedule this event for April 26-27,  2013.

“It was a difficult decision because we realized how big the spirit and passion from U-KISS fans and also U-KISS for this event to happen as planned. But after a long discussion, we agreed to reschedule the event for the safety and comfort of all parties and prevent the unwanted stuff later. We deeply apologize for this decision, we asked for understanding, especially from fans who have supported and look forward to this event, ” said Kim Young Hoon as CEO of Oppa Oppa Live.

As a form of concern for flooding that hit Jakarta, U-KISS also will auction their personal items and donate to the flood victims as well as do charity program directly in Jakarta. Oppa Oppa Live also will donate Rp 10.000, – from every ticket sold to slightly ease the burden of the victims of this natural disaster.

“We will work closely with trusted organizations to ensure our donation reached the right hands. In addition, some members of U-KISS also decided to come in and provide direct assistance”, added Kim Young Hoon. Not only will they demonstrate empathy in appalling conditions that hit Jakarta, U-KISS also hopes to inspire fans to care and share with those who are hurting from this incident.

“Once again, we apologize for this rescheduling. We will describe in greater detail in the next press conference. Thank you very much for your attention and understanding, “said Kim Young Hoon. More detailed matters related to rescheduling and charity will be explained in a press conference that will be held on February 1 with the artist and management.
